7A Testing the hypothesis, part 1

1) The Opportunity I will choose is the problem with phones dying due to having low batteries. I think that phones with self-regenerating batteries would be a revolutionary innovation.

·       The what: Creating phones with self-regenerating batteries.

·       The why: Everyone faces the problem of phone battery dying

·       Testing the who: Anyone in the world who has a phone

·       Testing the what: What are the boundaries of the need? The boundaries can be the technology that is currently lacking to develop a battery that regenerates

·       Testing the why: Anyone who has a phone emphasizes the value of their phones. Most of the times, phones are essential for people to do their homework, contacting people, and just simple daily tasks.

Most people did feel that having self-regenerating batteries was a good idea. However, most people also didn’t mind having to carry portable batteries or their chargers with them to prevent their phones from dying. I realized that although the technology for the regenerating battery is innovative, the price cannot be incredibly phone or it will lose appeal.
